West-Central IL | Not to far north of you here, but yeah its wide spread and bad.
We sprayed most with veltyma right after tassle. I don't have much that wasn't sprayed to compare to but I think it was a game changer of a decision. Began to see tar spot move in mid August.
Went from green to dead after labor day.
We started harvest last week and it's all been 21-24. Not sure some if it even blacklayered just dried down and done. Yields have been between 200 and 220 so far, that's less than expected and from what I've heard locally I should be happy with it.
Elevator commented that my test weight was some of the better they'd seen, looked at my ticket, right at 56#. | |
