deep SW On. | First time seeing tar spot , started to show around Sept 1 on bottom 2 leaves , now whole plant is dry , cobs look nice , corn cracks when bitten, not a black layer but more a brown layer.....haven't shelled any for moisture test or test weight ,but hand shelling the kernels just feel like when you pull off a green cob and set it in window to dry,,,,like powdery starch...
Corn was dark green until end of august ,but no measureable rain for 3 weeks ,up to then full soul profile
Now full season vartiies seem to be staying green ----just weird year.... | |
