Somerville, Indiana | Need a good hose that fits the fittings for the dump trailer...Am sure it is larger than 1 inch..
Two hose set up has one hose for pressure to the lowboy, or other service, with one hose going to the hyd tank...Just use the pressure hose only for the dump trailer or similar service...The two small hoses have nothing to do with a dump trailer except for returning oil to the tank when the trailer is lowered...Not good to have one of those hoses to bust either, so keep in good repair..
We have semi tractors set up that way, simple, trouble free...Pump has one hose for output, one hose to the tank to feed the input of the pump...Wet kit pumps have a valve mounted direct to the pump, most now have the pump direct mounted to the PTO with the PTO and valve shifted with air controls..
The hoses are no place to save money...Especially keep the hose to the dump trailer free from abrasion on the rubber coating...Imagine the trailer falling if the hose would bust..
Changing the valve? on the pump merely allows the oil to circulate between the pump and tank when in standby or hold mode...Otherwise the oil stays in the pump and can heat up if left running in stand by position for more than a few minutes...Ours stay in the pump, we shut off the PTO when not using the pump for a minute or two..
I don't seem to be able to make it not sound complicated, however, it isn't at all...Call or email if you need a better explanation.. | |
