The sleeve in the pump is to allow fluid to circulate back to the tank vs inside the pump itself with 2 lines coming off the pump. I can’t remember which way is which. I have a supply, pressure fir dump trailer, and then 2 smaller returns to the tank and supply. I use 1 single line for the dump trailer and then the 1 pressure and 2 returns for the lowboy.
