Jefferson, SD | A high rate of Liberty with some crop oil added works about the best for me. The waxy leaf makes it hard to get anything to stick without a good dose of crop oil. I'm not sure if it kills them but burns them off for the year. I wouldn't spray any more of the field than you have to with the oil added to Liberty as it will give you some crop yellowing. I hit my patch last year from both directions and it did much better than expected. | |
