That’s the root of my question. At what point is it better to buy vs hire mine put up? I don’t have enough land to justify the equipment so I will continue to hire it done.
If I can run a few more calves, and bring in OM instead of remove, where is the price point?
And I’m talking about planning ahead with hay purchased early. Not just in time, scrambling in January to try and find hay.
