Subject: RE: sprayer options for small farm

Coles County, Illinois
Backing into corners with a Big Wheel single axle trailer sprayer is easy but there's a method to this madness. As soon as I get 60' away from the end (60' booms) and shut off the booms, I start the turn. I want to get to a 45 degree angle, the sprayer tongue straight back and the boom almost to the edge of the field. When you stop in this position it's a very natural backup into the corner. I also spray with a PowerQuad Trans in C4 so down shifting to C1 to backup is easy.
