SD, US | We are at a tossup between a planter or air seeder for soybean planting. We currently plant our soybeans with a planter.
The plan is to update planters for the 2022 season, and are considering an air seeder for soybeans.
In theory, I like the depth control and more uniform seed placement you get with a planter. With that being said, where does the air seeder shine?
Advantages/disadvantages of both and/or your experience would be appreciated.
