N FLA | Yeah that's my thoughts on the calf. Was really dried out when I found him. I bet I missed a day or two of colostrum. Gave him all the water I could get down his throat today, in addition to colostrum and milk. I haven't tubed him. Just been working on it a quart at a time. I killed the last one I had like this with a misplaced tube.
I like the guillotine door, that would be simple. But my daughter and I need to be able to get in and I don't think I could get enough clearance. Thanks for the ideas. That would sturdy it up. I have 4x4s to hang the hinge on. So I should be able to make it strong and heavy. | |
