I use heavy construction screws, Put horizontal birds 6 inches from top and bottom. Add a diagonal board from bottom hinge side to top outside edge. Requires angle cut on both ends. From inside the frame three boards form a zero. The angle board gives it strength and rigidity
You can get fancy and make upper and lower doors for a 7 foot door you can open together or just bottom shut with top open. Most important thing is door should be fastened open or shut and NEVER left to swing in the wind | |
