Once it's all up and running its not all that slow but you have to wait 5 minutes if you restart it before trying to open anything. I have a bad habit of having too many programs running at one and too many browsers and tabs open and leaving it that way for weeks at a time. I may do as suggested put a solid state drive in it and load windows 10
