Valley, NE | my family growing up always had some sort of Branschweiger in the fridge. Loved it on a a piece of toast with fresh garden tomatoes and onions, and still do! unfortunately nowadays, I'm the only one in my immediate family that enjoys it, so i only see it at christmas with crackers and cheese when we meet up with my side.
I occasionally like liver and onions about twice a year, but on my last beef, I tried to get the locker to make braunschweiger out of my liver, but they wouldn't do a small batch just for me :(
