Wish more producers would figure out when calves are going to finish before they decide to background and sell them for a loss.
There was a time when it paid to put the extra pounds on after weaning, but like owning a few milk cows or sows, those days are over. If a guy puts one bushel of corn into them after weaning may as well just keep feeding them until they’re fat. | |
