MB, Canada | +1 The more I feed cows and calves the more I see maintenance feed as the biggest expense. Maybe it's being up in Canada where we're often forced out of grazing sooner than we'd like to be, but my ideal scenario for feeder weights is shifting toward feeding them as hard and fast as they're capable of as long as they're healthy and are putting on muscle and not fat. | |
