Coles County, Illinois | I've gotten the C099 working reliably as a base. It supplies corrections via SNIP to RTK2GO. I've gotten a RTK lock several times using the Lefebure Bluetooth App. When I tried to send RS232 data to an Envizio Pro II via a Max32 shield I bricked one of the C099 boards. I suspect somehow 5 volts got to the 3.3 V section. I ordered another C099 but harvest prep became the priority and I haven't got back to it. One thing with the Rover side I could get the Lefebure to attach to the Bluetooth side and the F9P to output NMEA data but getting the correction data from the Bluetooth side to the F9P side was unreliable. I'd get it working and cycle power and not get it back.
SparkFun has a new module that is interesting. If I'm reading the documentation right each time it's powered up it downloads the configuration to the module. It has bluetooth and appears there is a command line interface to store configuration data. I'm going to wait and see how this goes as I think I can use a parmi to get the data to the Envizio Pro or maybe thru a Qwiic device. | |
