West Kentucky | Time to lime for certain, but have seen similar numbers on fields that get limed every 4 years. Depending on crops to be grown and what are appropriate rates of your local lime to get correct pH, I would adjust pH first. Here, that would be about 2 ton to get to a 6.3-6.5 level. Fertilize everything else as normal for soils with that level of CEC, except K. I would start to impliment some type of build program if possible, but I am assuming sandy soil so not sure how practical that is. | |
