thanks everyone for the reply's-means a lot to have positive response-I'm going to tactfully talk to the landlord somehow as I usually help haul his hog manure.
I realize its hard to keep a open mind on how to farm different ways and the way a person does everything

Keep your nose out of the guys business. Unless your paying the rent. Why cause trouble between your friend and the landlord. Somehow you turned a problem between those 2 people into a poor Garvo story. Strange.
