Acreage building site gets sold off and they have their footage but measure from edge of road ditch, not center of road. A lot of times kind of a blank look that part of their land is In 1/2 the road. We really are out in the sticks so to speak so don’t have all the trouble with new housing developments and most of the people owning acreages are pretty decent. Biggest issues can be overhanging trees that have to be cut. Had a friend who is now deceased would never buy a farm unless dooryard went with it. Said it was a lot less trouble in the end. | |
