As others have said, Ethanol blending into lower grade gasoline to raise quality could be the real issue. The low quality gas could be what gums up carbs, not the ethanol.
I run premium gas in my small engines, haven’t cleaned a carb in 5 years at least. Small engines burn a fraction of what automobiles burn. Wife’s SUV gets e10 and will get e15 if available.
I think this may cause problems
