I was lucky, my alternator on my MH just quit charging. No problem as I just run my diesel generator when on the road until I got home. New alternator from Freightliner was $275 and I changed it myself. I went hunting last fall for a week in Colorado and stayed in a motel. The hunt was great but staying in a motel for a week made me appreciate my motorhome. To each their own.
I've limped home the same way before. It was easy to change once you flip up the master bed, the whole engine is right there. |
