Subject: help on converting an old modem router into a switch/Acces point

I followed an online guide and for whatever reason it wont assigne an OP address and when you give anything a static IP it wont connect to the internet. I did have it working before a power flicker then it reset to back to factory setting.

Ideas?

Bec/billion 7800tn r2. Yes it's old but I'm hoping this fall we can upgrade the entire farm to an actual system instead of a bunch of old devices
