This group of calves were born may/june last year so 14/15 months old. I don't tag at birth so not sure of the exact date.

The steers are fed a commercial show ration, I think this one is based on oat grain. The steers are held in a small paddock with self feeders. Trying to finish on grass for a specific show date would be much harder with changing weather and feed quality, grain gives a constant source of energy for finishing to a date.
