My opinion: Sterling Blue, without any roundup, sounds like a good plan. Will take care of broad leaves without hurting corn or xtend beans. And will leave grass untouched, so the grass can continue to compete with any future weeds that emerge. Killing grass outside of crop areas is always a bad idea, the broad leaves love the chance to take over.
I would not be very concerned about drift/movement. There is very little total product going in a 2' band compared with spraying a whole field with 22oz. Xtendimax
