SC Wisconsin | I always have the rake hooked up the night before so as soon as it looks like the dew is lifting I go rake. I do it all myself so by the time I get home from raking and eat some lunch its time to fuel and grease the baler and go bale.
I do some custom baling and have 2 guys who insist on raking the day before. The windrow always settles over night and its harder to get it cleaned up nice as well as it gains a little moisture on the bottom. They wrap all theirs though so its not an issue | |
