North Central Illinois | Normally I put on 140 lbs of potassium sulfate on in the spring ahead of soybeans. That's what went down in April. I did bale off about one ton/acre of rye in May on a dry matter basis. I normally do that and don't have any trouble. This is one of my lower K fields though.
I put manure on ahead of corn but that ends up pretty much just covering the corn's needs. | |
