I know what you mean I tried avoiding the dangers of crawling out under a raised boom and scrambled over the top and jumped down. That was bad result too.
I guess that is why the ground level side entry telehandler looks so appealing to me. When you work alone dangerous situations can be even more so if things go wrong.
