Yeah. If we are going by APH then Washington State should be corn belt center.

To me "fringe" area is almost like human "races". Some areas are more profitable and well suited for corn production, and aph doesn't really matter. Millions of bushels of grain storage here from when corn was king with strong irrigation. Now probably 25% capacity in a good year.
