S Illinois | Would guess that SD and IN will be very close in production this year. SD planting intentions were 6 million acres while IN was 5.8 million acres and KS has them both beat at 6.3million. Obviously IN has better yields but the yield in SD is just as important as IN.
In 2019, SD was PP central and in 2018 IN had record yields. This year looks to balance a little better so there is likely to be less than 100 million bu difference between SD and IN. SD, IN, KS are of equal importance anymore. | |
