I move a fair amount of hay, but it’s 3x3 square bales. I have a couple of Ford industrial tractors, a 445a, and a 445d. They are both faster than a skid loader, and cheaper too. One has skid loader style quick attach and hydraulics so it can run a grapple bucket. Not as handy in tight places, but they do real well for the price.
Daughter need a skid loader for her beef operation.
