Nevada, Iowa | I don't know if it is still true but Dad used to speak of the area not experiencing drought or at least to the extent that it could happen elsewhere. I always assumed Dad spoke from authority on the subject but having never lived there, I don't know why I assumed that, lol. I never really verified that with Loran. The weather extremes we see these days seem to throw all of the old tales out the window. The NE part of the state has certainly shared in those extremes of late. | |
