There is no such thing as free. Wife and I each have our own Amazon accounts. She has Prime, I don't. We have looked up the exact same item on each of our accounts and hers has been higher priced more times than not. It isn't 100% of the time, but at least 80%. So you are paying more, plus the yearly subscription. She is ditching Prime when her year is up.
