Effingham County IL | We use an airseeder (7.5” inch rows) with 2 rows off then the next two on (Have to set a 7.5” offset in the gps to make it line up pass to pass)to twin row the covers. I used annual ryegrass and crimson clover here. We have been coming back in the 22.5” gap with a shank type strip till bar and building a berm and injecting dry fertilizer. I would like to do this with every acre we farm but we have had some challenging falls for getting cover crops established. | |
