I have a 3 row windbreak of Norway and White Spruce, it doesn't reduce traffic noise very much. Highway centerline is about 100feet from the front of the house. Windbreak does how ever prevent snowmobiles and atv's from driving within 30 feet of the house. You will eventually ignore most of it.
