Kandiyohi County, MN | I used to enjoy water trapping in the fall. Muskrats, mink, raccoon, etc. The last few late falls I have not been able to, so I trap pocket gophers in the spring while waiting for fieldwork (they can make a mess out of field roads). Anyway, I have to admit I felt a little bit sorry for this little fella, for a milli-second, until thought to myself "he's a pocket gopher", then I didn't feel bad at all.
