| All I know is I went to cash checks made out to my three boys for them one day about 10 years ago at our local bank, they had 8 branches within 150 miles. The total amount was just under $20,000. I had to wait for 30 minutes for them to bring enough cash from another branch to satisfy those checks. I also know this branch was robbed of $50,000 cash that they had sent though the U.S. postal service. I was then told it was common practice to mail money. The money was recovered as it was stolen by the postmaster in that town, this about 6 years ago. | |
