SW Illinois | Your math is correct. It is a direct replacement for dry AMS. And yes, we do pay a little more for the convenience of it. Our nurse trailer is set up with a SureFire QuickDraw, so any product we can get in totes is a timesaver. Prior to our retailer offering the 8-0-0-9S, we mixed our own using dry AMS dissolved in water. It worked well, but there was still a lot of time spent dumping bags at the farm when mixing up a new batch. What we’re using now comes to the retailer by the tanker-load, so I have no idea how it’s made. All I know is that works and it’s worth it to us. | |
