davpal - 3/26/2020 10:58 Problem with the dry is that you have to make sure you don't have this in the bottom of the sprayer. I found out it wouldn't dissolve very well in cold water. Plugged filter and nozzle screens. Our well water is probably 39 or 40 degrees even in the summer. I started mixing it with hot water in a pail first and that seemed to do the trick.
I've had that happen before. It is avoidable without premixing the AMS in a bucket.
You can avoid a plugged filter or screens by putting a bypass (or using the one that may already be there) on your sprayer that goes directly from the pump back to the tank without going through the filter. Put a ball valve before the filter and shut it so that nothing makes it to the filter while you're filling.
