SW Illinois | We use liquid AMS for Roundup, but Liberty guys around here use it as well with good results. This is a true liquid AMS. It’s analysis is 8-0-0-9S and it weighs 10#/gallon. We use 4.5 gal/100, which is the same as 17#/100 of dry AMS. The cost is just a little bit higher than dry AMS, but the time savings when loading are huge for us. It’s also cut way down on wear to our sprayer pump. Back when we were dumping bags of dry in our sprayer inductor, I’d get maybe 1.5 years ( 20-25,000 acres) out of a pump housing before it was worn through. Since switching to liquid, I get several times that much life out of them. | |
