| Bayer followed a "don't tell till asked" marketing program. You will notice I didn't comment on the legal or moral question in regard to Bayer. I only commented on the product and how it was marketed. Kind of hard to sell a product you are pushing as a way to avoid RU corn in your beans if you tell everyone it will not kill it before a certain growth stage. The material I saw from Universities and Bayer clearly said "contact". I know some consider my logic not reasonable. However, given my use of paraquat on spiked corn and Basagram on nutsgrasses, I assumed the same of this product.
Granted the label is the law and the official guide to use of any product. Bayer should be punished in some way for its misleading advertising. But, then the current corporate culture not only allows for this, but encourages it. Just look around, false and misleading advertising is everywhere.
