Burlington, IA | Dave, I agree with Mlebrun, you may have to look a little, but they're out there. NuTech has never quit selling conventional beans, and has 14 available for 2010, ranging from 1.7 to 3.9 maturity, up from 9 for 2009. 12 of those are from 1.7 to 3.1, and 6 of those 12, from 2.1 to 3.1, are cyst beans, plus 2 more at 3.5 and 3.9. Same scenario holds true for conventional corn, 12 current numbers for 2010, 13 if you count a Clearfield number, up from 9 in 2009, 10 if you count Clearfield. Anybody that wants/needs conventional corn or beans really shouldn't have a hard time finding what they want. I know we've seen an increased demand. I've known for some time that we would be beefing up our conventional offerings, and I don't blame anyone for wanting to plant at least some conventional. There are some excellent conventional numbers out there in the marketplace.
