NWMO
Back in the day of non GMO's our plant breeders we were selling for had a trend line of about 1/3 of a bushel per yr. So in 15 years that would be 5 bushels gain. What most don't remember when RR beans came out, they were 2 1/2 - 6 bushels behind. We were some of the last in are area to join the Monsanto game, mostly because of market shift. Farmers quit buying non GMO beans so money to keep breeding tech became short & phased out. Bad farmers over nite became Good farmers? It was easy, but cheep and easy will never last too long. Think of where we could be right now in yeild with out RR beans. Most of us are right back to using old chemicals of the past. Monstanto was all but broke untill we the farmer jumped on and some soon after were forced on board. I'm sorry, but part of me kinda hopes the weeds win this one!
