Somewhereville, Earth
tallgrassneil, it don't matter if its just a bolt, they need to know

there was a exhaust pipe or radiator on here a wee while back on a windrower on a similar machine that was very expensive

lots of computer inventory systems have blanket markup's on products in areas based on warehouse location or machine, if you put a blanket markup on a section that has 1000 line items, most $1.50 each, it may not seem like a big increase, but if there are 3 of those 1000 items in that location that are $1000 bucks each, they issue becomes more noticable to the end user. a 30% increase in price on $1.50 is $1.95, conumers often don't notice that, 30% on $1000 is $1300, for some reason that gets noticed.

parts locations for these machines are not based on what type of machine it is, bin locations can come down to supplier, product type etc, and on every single ocation there is a pen pusher somewhere that has made that deicision. don't expect the largest company in the world to operate in a 100% professional manner.........they need feedback in the correct manner, a true measure of a company is how they then accomadate you as a customer regardless of whether you have one machine, or 3000 machines
