We put the current crop onto a marginal (Class 5) field...

We've gotten 18bu barley on it before. Last year, with clover underseeded, and the barley at only 1bu/acre (half of normal), we yielded 35bu/acre of No 1. MALTING barley. The only fertilizer it got was 5lbs of phos and 30lbs of N.

Haven't done it with wheat, but would most likely be the same deal. Gotta cut high to not catch the clover, but shouldn't have any trouble /w it.
