Minnesota | I believe most farmers make every effort to plant a crop if they can get it in. Corn planted in June is usually low yielding, light test weight, and wet in the fall. If a crop can’t get planted by June there is a reason why insurance company start to reduce coverage. Farmers aren’t trying to line their pockets they are just trying to make the best decision to keep farming another year. You won’t get rich taking pp but you will survive till next year. | |
