It is getting harder to find a good used C18 Cat engine tractor as everyone knows they are the real deal. The V12 Sisu is gone in a year or two with a whole new tractor to replace it.

I don't think the 865C is too loud. We run ours at 1800-1900 rpm and isn't bad. Let it loose to the max rpm and it gets a lot noisier. It doesn't do much good to run on the back side of the HP and torque curve. Just more noise and burns more fuel. Love the grunt pulling hills. Maybe shift down a gear or two while our 620 quad maybe three or four gears. We have been through several reaction arm bearings over the years in the hills. Main thing is change oil often with the engine oil.
