Beresford, SD | 100% spot on. SE SD has not planted enough corn to feed the inventory of livestock let alone the 5 E-plants with in 75 miles of Beresford. The July corn calls I bought 10 days ago have almost tripled in value. Will South Dakota get 40-50% planted this year?........I don't think so. Locally I'd say east of I-29 corn is almost 1/2 done....west of I-29. Maybe 10%. North and west a county or two....many have just plain said we are done....turn in the claim May 31st. Looks to me like bins full of last years corn....still unpriced...... will get fought over. | |
