Iowa | Got a 5088 and an 8070. Cab is nicer on the Allis, by far. Powershift is better on Allis, engine goes to IH, but the Harvey hand grenade engine is no slouch until she goes, new rods and mains every 2500-3000 hrs. Ih has better gearing splits, nice step up for each gear, and their in order. The 8000 is a more “modern” tractor, it feels like a 90’s tractor, vs a late 70’s. Mines got a 8.3 repower and it is stout. I’d trade my 5088 for a decent 8050/70 fwa. Looks- Ih hands down.
