Subject: Punching our way Through the Blend wall..

"Nobody said it was going to be easy..  If it were.. then anybody could do it."

There are good days with the current administration as there are with any of the others..

for example.. The Trump administration was NOT the first one to use the SRW's..

"Under the previous administration, for example, just seven small refineries were exempted from RFS compliance obligations in 2015, while seven petitions -- or half of those received -- were denied or declared ineligible,"

That being said.. the real crux of the problem is the blend wall.. as this Farm Doc Illustrates..

https://farmdocdaily.illinois.edu/2019/02/why-are-ethanol-prices-so-low.html

The good thing about low ethanol prices is that it is allowing demand to grow as more stations are added which offer the cheaper, cleaner, and less toxic options of higher ethanol blended fuels.

Did you know that as much as 30% of a gallon of gasoline contains carcinogenic aromatic's?

Still.. we must keep the engine going.. It takes supply.. production.. and access to markets.. in order to continue to grow the industry.

The summer driving season is just around the corner.. things may start to improve here in the spring..??

I know that we have a new state of the art facility which will be coming online shortly is is built around meeting California's low Carbon standard.. which in some form or another.. may grow in importance for the rest of the country.. come 2020..  ??
