Frederick, Md | OP, what is your location? I’ve found here on the east coast where pastures are smaller barb wire doesn’t last long, cattle push on them and cause it to sag. Woven wire without a hot wire to keep them off the sides and top of it will do the same.
I’ve gone to 6 wire high tensile, 3 hot at 8k volts....they don’t touch it. Haven’t chased a cow since we put it in, other than from our own stupidity. | |
