I think you might be surprised how well these areas heal themselves. I tend to leave small ruts like this alone and they slowly disappear. I have a few small pockets of ruts like this in my soybean stubble. It was around first of November when they were made. We have had several freeze and thaw cycles and they are already half the depth that they originally were.
